Sunnyvale students get creative in encouraging fire safety

The Heat is On

Almost 20 students in local schools were winners of the 2002 fire safety poster contest, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Sunnyvale and the Department of Public Safety. Kindergarten through fifth-grade students from city elementary schools, participated in the contest by drawing posters invloving fire hazards.
