    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Attempted Kidnapping--March 27, 11 p.m., 400 block of Old San Francisco Road. Suspect attempted to grab victim while she was riding her bike. Suspect fled in an older truck and is still at large.

    Burglary/School--March 26, 7 a.m., 500 block of E. Olive Avenue. Unknown suspect used a rock to break a lower tilt-out window along an interior walkway at Ellis School. Suspect entered kindergarten rooms and took a boombox and a box of gummi bears. Suspect didn't search or disturb any other area.

    Disorderly Conduct and Prostitution--March 23, 9 p.m., 500 block of E. El Camino Real. Sunnyvale Narcotics/Vice Unit conducted an operation. Two suspects were arrested. The first suspect was arrested for prostitution, both suspects were arrested for residing in a house of ill fame. Both were transported to Public Safety prior to being cited and released.

    Attempted Burglary/Commercial--March 22, 9:35 a.m., 500 block of E. Weddell Drive. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to commit a burglary at a local business. A projectile was fired at the front glass door. The glass fragmented around the impact area, but didn't shatter the entire door. No entry was made.
