    Dons fall

    Kia Mjolsness won twice, but the De Anza Community College women's tennis team lost a 6-3 decision to Chabot last week in Coast Conference play.

    Mjolsness won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and teamed with Becca Kane for a 7-5, 1-6, 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles to account for two of the three De Anza wins on the day.

    Jennifer Shem and Aileen Chan combined for a 6-4, 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles for De Anza's only other win in the match.

    Pop Warner Ball

    Sunnyvale-Cupertino Peninsula Pop Warner signups for football players and cheerleaders ages 7-15 are now being accepted. For more information, call 408.737.9972 or 408.744.0840, or check the Web site at www.svpopwarner.com.

    Colt League Ball

    The Sunnyvale-Cupertino Colt League is currently holding registration for players ages 15-16. Tryouts will be held April 28, 9 a.m., at Ortega Park. For more information, call 408.245.7669.

    Adult sports

    The city of Sunnyvale is currently holding registration for its adult basketball, softball and volleyball programs.

    The cost is $560 for the 10-game spring basketball league, $380 for the seven-week softball season and $250 for the eight-match volleyball campaign. Each entry fee includes any playoff games, and there is a $10 fee charged for each non-resident.
