    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Possession of Illegal Weapon--March 26, 3:20 p.m., 5400 N. Fair Oaks Ave. An officer was conducting a security check of Fair Oaks Park when he found a man in a vehicle. A search revealed a crack pipe in the suspect's pocket and a billy club in his vehicle. He was arrested and taken to county jail.

    Malicious Mischief--March 25, 4:35 a.m., 300 block of Acalanes Ave. A suspect drunk came over to the victim's apartment to see his ex-girlfriend. When refused entry, the suspect began screaming and banging on the victim's door to be let in. Refused entry, the suspect kicked the door with such force, the frame shattered. The suspect was taken into custody before he gained entry.

    Peeking while Prowling--March 25, 1:52 a.m., 800 block of Lakehaven Dr. The victim was awakened to sounds outside her bedroom window. An unknown man was peeking in the window inside their gated, fenced back yard. He was gesturing with his hands and making unintelligible noises. He fled the yard when one of the family members screamed.
