The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Safety.

Sale of marijuana--April 2, 1:10 p.m. A 19-year-old male was detained by staff at Fremont High School after administrators learned the suspect was not a student at the campus. Police found five plastic baggies of marijuana in the suspect's car, and the suspect admitted he was attempting to sell $15 to $30 worth of the illegal substance. Police arrested the suspect.

Possession of stolen property--April 5, 11:30 p.m. Officers searched a car at the intersection of Ontario and Kirkland and found items that were stolen from a vehicle in San Jose the night before. All three people in the car were arrested, including the 19-year-old driver, who did not have a license. Officers are also investigating whether the car being driven was stolen.

Forgery--April 2, 12:24 p.m. Officers responded to the Bank of America on Mathilda Avenue when a 27-year-old male tried to pass a forged check. An employee at the bank called the issuer of the check to verify its authenticity and found it to be fraudulent. The suspect was jailed and held on $11,000 bail.

Theft--April 3, 8 p.m. A purse containing $450 was stolen from the back seat of a car that was parked in a church parking lot on Dunford. Police have no suspects.
