Kindergartner Tamar Gal and about 100 other students participated in a Seder on March 28 at South Peninsula Hebrew Day School in Sunnyvale. Seder is a traditional feast commemorating the exodus of the Jews from Egypt, observed in the home by the reading of prayers and the eating of symbolic foods, such as salt for tears, from a Seder plate. The feast heralds Passover.
