    Youth signups, camps

It may be the beginning of the Major League baseball season. But there's certainly much more going on for young people in the area. Sure, there's baseball... but there's also soccer and track and field. And it's already time to start thinking about football.

    De Anza Youth Soccer

The De Anza Youth Soccer League will hold signups for boys and girls ages 4-18 interested in playing in the 1999 fall season on April 24 and May 15, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at the Creekside Soccer Complex, Creekside and Miller in Cupertino. Teams will be formed in August and players will be contacted by their coach. For more information, visit the league's Web site at http://www.netgate.net/~donr/dyslmain.htm.

    Spring soccer camp

De Anza Community College head soccer coach Kulwant Singh will host a spring soccer camp for players ages 5-16 on April 19-23, 9 a.m.-noon each day. The cost for the five-day camp is $95 per session, and the camp will be conducted at De Anza College. For more information, call 864-8745.
