De Anza hosts exhibit--through a child's eyes
De Anza College is hosting an exhibit called "The Many Faces of California: A Child's Perspective."
The exhibit is on display from now until June 4 and includes a quilt depicting the 21 California missions, art representing California Indian culture, models of the missions and other symbols of the state's history. Each of the items on display was made by fourth-graders from San Miguel Elementary School in Sunnyvale.
The exhibit is free and is open from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is also open on two Saturdays, May 9 and May 30, from 10 a.m. to noon.
