New senior center set to break ground
The city of Sunnyvale will break ground for a brand new senior center on April 24 from 2 to 4 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the site of the new center on the Sunnyvale Community Center campus, located at 550 E. Remington Dr.

The design, based on feedback from almost 400 seniors, will include a multipurpose room with a stage, adjacent patio with a view of the pond, health and counseling facilities, reception and lounging areas and six activity rooms for senior programs.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony. For more information about the groundbreaking ceremony or the new center, call 408.730.7360. Design plans for the new center can be viewed on the city's website at www.ci.sunnyvale.ca.us/leisure-services/
