Driven to Invent

Sunnyvale Middle School seventh-grader Josh Cavin explains the workings of "Light Alert," a device he designed to buzz when drivers leave their headlights on after shutting off the ignition. In all, 50 inventors were chosen by their fellow students to take part in the show, which was held April 25 at the school.
