Valley Chorale Openings
The Valley Chorale has openings for singers and pianists to sing as well as share accompaniment of rehearsals and concerts. Repertoire for the 12-concert series, locally and on tour, includes classics, spirituals and pops as well as a costumed musical theater medley. Both a cappella and accompanied music are featured. Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble to perform at the library
Learn about the Fiestas of the Philippines and enjoy folk dance and music based on traditional Filipino culture and ethnic art forms at a performance by the Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble May 5 at 2 p.m. at the Sunnyvale Public Library. The Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble is a group drawn together by the spirit and character of Filipino folk dance with a mission to present the culture of the Philippines through music and dance. Sunny View Retirement seeks activity volunteers
The Sunny View Retirement Community seeks the time and talent of volunteers to assist residents in a variety of activities. Musicians, gardeners, visitors and Little Store and Treasure Shop clerks are needed. Caring for animals, playing games, creating crafts, drivers, entertainers and handymen are all desired volunteers. E-Commerce Architecture Seminar at UCSC
The UCSC Extension presents an E-Commerce Architecture Institute Seminar and breakfast on May 15 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 1180 Bordeaux Dr, Sunnyvale. The breakfast seminar introduces UCSC Extension's E-Commerce Architecture Institute beginning in July and offers a presentation and discussion led by the instructors, authors of the best-selling book, The E-Commerce Book: Building the E-Empire. 'Crazy for You' comes to Sunnyvale through May 6
The Sunnyvale Community Players announce the opening of their production of Crazy for You, the Tony-award winning musical, opening April 13 and running through May 6. The production will be performed Thursdays, at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, at 8 p.m. and Sundays, at 2:30 p.m., except Sunday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the show are $16 for adults, $13 for students and seniors, and $11 for all Thursday shows.
