Four wounded in stabbing incidents





    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Petty Theft--April 25, 6:10 p.m., 1000 block E. Arques Ave. A woman entered an electronics store and removed a CD disc changer from its box and concealed it in her purse. She exited the store without paying for it and was contacted by store security and placed under citizen's arrest. As she had no criminal history, she was cited and released.

    Domestic Violence--April 22, 3:45 p.m., 900 block Henderson Ave. The victim came home from work at approximately 3:45 p.m. Her husband, already home, had been drinking. After the couple got in a verbal argument, the woman went to the kitchen to call police. The husband grabbed the phone from her, and in so doing, hit the victim on the right cheek.

    Burglary--April 20, 12:30 p.m., 400 block S. Mathilda Ave. The suspect entered a bank and attempted to cash a stolen check.

    Petty Theft--April 20, 12 p.m., 1000 block E. Arques Ave. A woman entered an electronics store and concealed a camera worth $230 in her front pants pocket. The suspect was observed by cameras as she concealed the item. She was cited and released at the scene.
