    FAA plan fails local cities

I have recently learned of preparations to reroute incoming San Francisco International Airport traffic to fly over Santa Clara County. This plan will result in tens of thousands of additional flights per year over our homes, schools and parks, and I am very concerned about noise and disruption in my neighborhood day and night.

The plan also has been prepared without input from the residents of Sunnyvale or its governmental leadership..

The existing flight paths to SFO already result in significant flights over Sunnyvale and during inclement weather the roar of jets on approach to SFO is deafening. San Mateo County residents should share the burden of SFO and not force it upon their neighbors.
