The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Forgery--April 29, 4:15 p.m. A 42-year-old woman was arrested at the Longs Drugs pharmacy at 576 El Camino Real when she attempted to receive prescription drugs with forged documents. The pharmacist called the doctor who supposedly filled the prescription and learned no such order had been placed. The suspect was arrested and is being held on $15,000 bail.

Burglary--April 28, 5:30 a.m. Two cars were burglarized at the same time on the 600 block of S. Fair Oaks; victims lost more than $1,200 in stolen property. Suspects smashed through a window of one car and removed $880 worth of stereo equipment. Suspects entered the second car through the passenger window, which was slightly ajar, taking a CD player and speakers worth $350. Officers removed fingerprints from the vehicles, but there are no leads or suspects in the case.

Illegal substance--April 28, 5 p.m. Sunnyvale officers served a probation search warrant for a 53-year-old woman who was located in an apartment in the 600 block of Lincoln in the city of Santa Clara. Officers found glass pipes for smoking controlled substances, marijuana pipes and hypodermic needles upon their search. Officers also seized 25 Vicodion pills inside a plastic container. The prescription was not made out to anyone inside the apartment, and the suspect was arrested.

Theft--April 30, 4 p.m. More than $1,200 worth of stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Pinto Palm Terrace housing complex. Thieves made off with a cellular phone, a stereo equalizer and a CD player. There are no leads or suspects in the case.
