Kudos for coverage of Fremont Pool plan

Thank you for your continued coverage of the efforts of the Friends of the Fremont Pool to convince the City of Sunnyvale to build a 50-meter pool at the Fremont High School campus.

I was born here in Sunnyvale 33 years ago and actually took my first swim lesson at Fremont High School. Thus began a lifelong love of the sport. Swimming is one of very few sports that people can continue to enjoy and actually compete in for their entire lives.

The city of Sunnyvale would be wise in investing in this complex. I encourage my fellow Sunnyvale residents to support it as well.
