The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Prostitution--May 1, 10 p.m. Officers arrested a woman for offering an undercover officer a sexual act in exchange for $40 inside the Spring Hot Tubs business in the 100 block of Sunnyvale Avenue. Another suspect was arrested for being in possession of methamphetamines. The case is being referred to the district attorney's office for criminal complaint.

Disturbing the Peace--May 3, 4:53 p.m. A suspect at a bar on the 900 block of E. El Camino Real challenged several patrons to fight. After the suspect shoved one patron, the patron responded by shoving him to the ground. The suspect was arrested after officers used spray and struck the suspect with a baton in the back of the left thigh.

Reckless Driving--May 2, 6:20 p.m. A patrol officer watched as the driver of a modified 1994 blue Acura Integra began to burn rubber in the parking lot of Fairwood Park in the 1200 block of Sandia. After thick, black clouds of smoke appeared, the tires left 40-foot skid marks. The 25-year-old suspect was cited.

Theft--May 1, 6:37 a.m. Suspects cut through a chainlink fence in the 1200 block of Birchwood to get to a van, from which they removed $1,300 worth of tools.
