The following incidents were culled from reports filed by officers in the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Kidnapping--1:36 a.m., May 16 on the 1100 block of West El Camino Real. Police arrested John Wilson, 33, of Fremont, for allegedly abducting a 31-year-old woman and taking her car as she sat in it. Police arrested Wilson as he tried to run away. Police charged him with attempted carjacking and kidnapping. Wilson was confined at the Santa Clara County Jail.

Vandalism--6:10 a.m., May 15 on the 200 block of Buena Vista Terrace. A Sunnyvale man was charged with vandalism in excess of $50,000 and petty theft. Bail was set at $10,000.

Drugs--1 p.m., May 15 on the 700 block of Reseda Drive. A Sunnyvale man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and having drug paraphernalia.

Drugs--10 p.m., May 14. A Sunnyvale man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail was set at $15,000.

Drunk--9:30 p.m., May 14. A transient was charged with two counts of being drunk and one count of petty theft. Bail was set at $17,500.

Spousal abuse--9:30 p.m., May 14 on the 1000 block of East El Camino Real. A Sunnyvale man was charged.

Drugs--8 p.m., May 14, near the intersection of Duane and Johanna avenues. A Sunnyvale man was arrested for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana while driving.

Drunk --9:15 p.m., May 13 on the 100 block of Aries Way. A Sunnyvale man was arrested for being drunk.

Drunk--8:30 p.m., May 13 on the 800 block of West McKinley Drive. A San Jose man was arrested on three counts. Bail was set at $1,500.
