Delicious business opens
The new gourmet food and gift store It's Delicious opened on May 2 at 127 S. Murphy Avenue in old town Sunnyvale. It's Delicious carries everything from specialty walnut oil and sweet preserves from France to top-of-the-line German chocolate and blueberries-in-peach-schnapps dessert sauce. The store also carries pastas, bread mixes, olive oils, vinegars, tapenades, mixers, barbecue sauces, spices, dip mixes, biscotti and wine snacks. It's Delicious is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 408.746.9711.
Sunnyvale Senior Center holds lecture series
The Sunnyvale Senior Center will provide a series of lectures for its members. The center will have lectures titled "The Many Aspects of Depression" on May 22 at 1 p.m. by psychiatrist Dr. Fitzsimmons and "Senior and Women's Health Issues" on May 29 at 1 p.m. by Dr. Marcy Teressi, gerontologist.
