Senior tennis
Top senior tennis players from all over the Bay Area were in the field last weekend at the USA Senior League Tennis Section Championships of Northern California held at Vintage High School and the Napa Valley Country Club.
Among the 64 teams in the field were the Cupertino men's 3.5 and men's 4.0; the Los Gatos men's 3.0, women's 3.5 and women's 4.0; the San Jose men's 3.5; the Saratoga men's 4.0; and the Sunnyvale men's 3.0, women's 3.5 and women's 4.0.
Winning teams advance to the USA League Tennis National Championships.
Swim staff needed
The Los Altos Masters, a non-profit group that runs youth and adult swim programs, is looking for swimming instructors, lifeguards and coaches.
The group operates a year-round program at Covington Pool in Los Altos and offers summer and year-round employment. Call 650.941.2406.
Adult softball
Openings remain for teams interested in playing in the Sunnyvale adult summer softball season. The registration deadline is May 26, and the cost is $370 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident. Call 408.730.7334.
