The following incidents were culled from reports filed by Sunnyvale Public Safety Officers.

Possession of meth--May 18, 7:30 p.m. A 27-year-old male driving a maroon Ford Taurus was pulled over in the 600 block of E. Duane Avenue for vehicle violations. When officers searched the car, they found nine bags of methamphetamines, each containing a quarter of a gram of the illegal substance. Each bag has a value of about $25. A crack pipe and tools believed to be used for burglarizing cars were also found in the suspect's car. The suspect was arrested and held on $17,800 bail.

Forgery--May 20, 4 p.m. Three suspects, ranging from 19 to 23 years old, were arrested for attempting to pass forged checks at the Bank of America in the 1300 block of South Mary Avenue. Officers at the scene found numerous forged checks on the suspects and close to $4,800 in cash from previous check-cashing.

Exhibition of Speed--May 18 3:40 p.m. Police cited the driver of a red motorcycle who was doing a wheelie while riding westbound on Evelyn Avenue near Charles.

Petty Theft--May 17, 1:48 a.m. An 18-year-old suspect attempted to steal a 12-pack of beer from a 7-Eleven store in the 1200 block of Wildwood Avenue. The suspect was apprehended and identified by officers at the scene, and the beer was returned. The suspect was cited for petty theft and released.

Petty Theft--May 16, 5:40 p.m. Police nabbed a 25-year-old female in the Macy's on the 200 block of Washington Avenue after security officers watched her stuff $373 worth of clothing into her bag without attempting to pay for the items. The woman was cited at the scene and released.
