San José State University
San José State University (SJSU) baseball coach Sam Piraro will head up the annual SJSU summer baseball camps for players ages 6--17.
Sessions include comprehensive camps July 8-12 and July 22-26, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day, for players ages 6-16. The cost is $110 per player.
Specialty camps are slated for July 29-Aug. 2 (pitching camp for ages 12-17, 10 a.m.-noon, and hitting camp for ages 9-17, 1-3 p.m.). The cost is $125 per player (both sessions $200), and camps are limited to the first 25 campers. Call 408.924.1262 or 408.924.1287.
Saratoga Skills Clinic
The eighth annual Saratoga Skills Clinic, a basketball camp for girls entering sixth through 12th grades in the fall, will be held on June 17-July 11 in the Saratoga High School gym.
Camp hours are 1-3 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and the cost for the four-week camp is $275 per player. Preregistration is recommended since space is limited.
Saratoga girls varsity head coach Bret Yeilding and his staff will head up the camp, which will cover offensive skills that include passing, dribbling, ball handling and shooting.
