Driving under the influence--May 26, 7 p.m., on Mary Avenue. A Los Gatos woman, 40, was arrested on a warrant and held on $8,000 bail.
Assault and battery--May 25, 9:25 a.m., on Rockrose Avenue. A Sunnyvale woman, 31, was arrested and released.
Sexual assault--May 25, 1 p.m., on Prescott Avenue. A Sunnyvale man, 30, was arrested on charges of rape, sodomy, penetration with a foreign object, unlawful oral copulation and false imprisonment. He was booked into San Jose Main Jail.
Speeding--May 25, 12:54 a.m., on Lawrence Expressway. A San Jose man, 39, was cited for speeding, driving without a license and providing false information, and then was released.
Possession of stolen property--May 24, 3:45 p.m., on Lawrence Expressway. A transient man, 39, was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Burglary--May 24, 10:45 p.m., on Evelyn Avenue. A Sunnyvale woman, 29, was arrested and held on $5,000 bail at Elmwood County Correctional Facility.
Reckless driving--May 23, 6:40 p.m., on Lakeside Drive. A Sunnyvale woman, 19, was arrested for reckless driving, evading a peace officer and driving with a suspended license.
Delaying a peace officer--May 23, 6:45 p.m., on Lakeside Drive. A Fremont man, 22, was arrested and held at main jail on $5,000 bail.
Corporal punishment--May 22, 7 p.m., on Anne Lane. A Sunnyvale woman, 42, was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Theft, possession--May 22, 9:45 p.m., on Morse Avenue. A transient man, 36, was arrested on charges of petty theft, possession of stolen property, evading a peace officer and resisting arrest. He was held at main jail pending a bail hearing.
Battery, improper use of tear gas--May 21 on Wolfe Road. A Newark man, 30, was cited.
Burglary, auto theft--May 21, 10:15 a.m., on Ferndale Avenue. A Sunnyvale woman, 28, was arrested and booked into Elmwood.
Hit and run--May 21, 1:15 p.m., on Meadowlake Drive. A Sunnyvale woman, 62, was cited.
