The following incidents were culled from the log compiled by the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.
Possession--May 27, 6 p.m. Sunnyvale officers arrested a 47-year-old man in the parking lot of a Double Tree Inn Hotel in San Jose, where the suspect was in possession of more than one pound of methamphetamines, a firearm and $10,000 in cash. When officers searched his residence, they found more than two pounds of methamphetamines, two ounces of cocaine and a quarter-pound of marijuana. Officers also seized $79,700 from the residence.
Robbery--May 28, 3:20 p.m. A suspect grabbed a can of donations being collected by a volunteer in front of a supermarket in the 400 block of N. Mathilda and ran away. The can, which contained $12, was recovered after officers arrested an 18-year-old male matching the description of the suspect.
Possession--May 28, 7 p.m. Officers served a search warrant for 32-year-old male in an apartment in the 300 block of Acalanes, where they found the suspect under the influence of a controlled substance. Officer removed six grams of methamphetamines and more than 80 syringes from the apartment.
Vandalism--May 28, 1:42 a.m. A 29-year-old male was arrested in the 600 block of Madrone Avenue for vandalism and possession of an illegal substance.
Hit and Run-May 27, 10 p.m. A 31-year-old female was arrested at the 1000 block of W. Evelyn Avenue for driving while intoxicated, hit and run, and driving without a license.
Possession-May 28, 5 p.m. Two males were cited and released at Columbia Park for carrying one joint and half a gram of marijuana.
