Same sex nuptial unions cheapen the sanctity of marriage

Marriage is an institution to produce future generations legally. Since same sex can't produce future generations they don't qualify for the institution of marriage.

They can qualify for special exemptions. Such as veterans and seniors have, to name a few.

But they don't qualify for the institution of marriage. To have same sex marriage is to cheapen the institution of marriage.

    Correction

The name of a winner in the Disabled American Veterans Americanism essay contest should have been spelled Elizeth in the May 19 edition of The Sun. We regret the error.
