    Money still flowing

Friends of the Fremont Pool announced their fundraising efforts have reached $238,000, thanks to a $25,000 gift from developer John Arrillagan and $5000 donations from Chris Moylan, a Sunnyvale swimmer, and Valerie Armento, the city's attorney and a swimmer. Friends of the Fremont Pool hope to raise $1 million to help pay for operating expenses at a proposed Olympic-sized pool in Sunnyvale. The City Council will vote on the pool at the council meeting on June 20.
