FUHSD set to represent state in national campaign
The Fremont Union High School District has been selected along with two other local districts to represent California in a national campaign to develop performance and accountability in schools.
The Community Training and Assistance Center, based in Boston, selected the FUHSD along with the Campbell Union High School and the Moreland Elementary School districts in San Jose.
The project will focus on understanding the performance of every child in every school nationwide, and will attempt to identify the factors that help or hinder student learning.
FUHSD Superintendent Joe Hamilton said the district applied to the program for the opportunity to increase its already high level of student achievement.
