    Fund Wildlife Rescue

Many people have had the experience of finding an injured or orphaned wild animal and have not known how to help. Wildlife rehabilitation shelters take in such animals, treat and rehabilitate them for release.

Wildlife Rescue of Silicon Valley is a private nonprofit which provides services to the residents of San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. I urge all Sunnyvale residents to contact the Sunnyvale City Council to push for funding for Wildlife Rescue's services. Although the majority of funding comes from private donations, Contracts with cities help alleviate some of the cost. The cities of San Jose and Santa Clara have contracts with the organization. Sunnyvale is the only city that has not responded.
