Adult volleyball

The city of Sunnyvale is currently setting up summer leagues for adult volleyball.

Volleyball league play will begin June 30, and the cost is $225 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident on the roster.

Baseball school

The annual Santa Clara Baseball School returns to Santa Clara University, under the direction of Broncos head coach Mike Cummins and former Santa Clara player and coach Lou Lucas.

Remaining camp sessions include the following: Session II, July 6-10, hitting only, $60; Session III, July 20-24, fundamentals and hitting, $110, and pitching only, $60.

The school features instruction in playing defense, base running, sliding and hitting. Each camper receives a T-shirt. Call 554-4680 or 267-3831.

Soccer camps

Santa Clara Soccer Camps holds court at Santa Clara University. this summer. Sessions include residential and day camp for girls and boys ages 6-17, including specialized training for field players and goalkeepers.

Santa Clara Soccer Camps also features a day camp at the West Jordan Soccer Complex in Utah; the Orchard Valley Youth Soccer League Team Development Program at the Morgan Hill Soccer Complex; and the Mt. Hamilton Youth Soccer League Camp at Cadwallader School.
