    Council to revise life quality survey

    On June 19, the quality of life initiative revision of measures, which were voted on by council on April 24, were discussed again at the city council meeting. The council voted unanimously on the motion to revise the study, which will make the surveys for the study available on the internet.

    FUHSD rewards its employees

    The Fremont Union High School District has awarded several individuals for their employee excellence. Mary McDonald was named leadership team employee of the year, Judy Stahmer as named classified employee of the year of the educational services center and Dennis Plaza was named leadership team member of the quarter.

    Second Annual Economic Report

    The report on economic prosperity of the city of Sunnyvalewas released May 25 and is available to the public. According to the city manager, the city is developing strategies that will strengthen business retention efforts, increase economic investment in the community, and provide a high quality of life for the corporate community and the residents of Sunnyvale.
