Shooting--June 25, 3:23 p.m., on Henderson Avenue. Witnesses reported a man with a gun chasing another man south on Henderson toward El Camino Real.The victim sustained a minor gunshot wound to his shoulder.
Possession of marijuana--June 24, 6:50 p.m., on Lynxwood Court. A San Jose man, 35, was arrested for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Assault and battery--June 23, 3:50 p.m., on Homestead Road. A Sunnyvale man, 36, was arrested and booked into the main jail.
Restraining-order violation--June 23, 9:45 a.m., on Sunnyvale Avenue. A Sunnyvale man, 35, was arrested and held at the main jail on $500 bail.
Reckless driving--June 22, 11:45 p.m., on San Aleso Avenue. A Sunnyvale man, 34, was arrested and held at the main jail on $15,000 bail. He was also charged with driving under the influence.
Drunk in public--June 22, 8:20 p.m., on Olive Avenue. A transient man, 37, was arrested and held on $500 bail.
Spousal abuse--June 22, 4:15 p.m., on Eden Avenue. A Sunnyvale man, 21, was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Hit and run--June 22, 4:25 a.m., on Hammerwood Avenue. A 33-year-old man was arrested and held on $500 bail on suspicion of a misdemeanor.
Concealed weapon--June 21, 3 p.m., on North Mathilda Avenue. A Sunnyvale man, 44, was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
Grand theft auto--June 21, between 12:33 and 1:45 p.m., at the Sunnyvale Town Center Mall. A four-door GMC Jimmy was reported stolen from a parking lot.
Controlled substance--June 20, 10 p.m., on Kern Avenue. A Santa Clara man, 35, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and barbiturates, possession of paraphernalia and trespassing. Bail was set at $20,000.
Armed robbery--June 20, 9:59 p.m., on South Wolfe Road. Three men entered a store, one with a handgun. They demanded cash and upon receiving the money struck the store clerk on the head with the handgun. The men fled with the money and were gone when police arrived. An area search was conducted, but the suspects were not located. The suspects were described as black or Hispanic males in their 20s wearing dark clothing. One man wore a dark cloth mask over his face.
Petty theft--June 20, 3 p.m., on South Sunnyvale Avenue. A 33-year-old man was arrested for petty theft with a prior conviction and held on $5,000 bail.
Hit and run--June 20, 10:25 a.m., on All America Way. A Sunnyvale man, 29, was arrested for misdemeanor hit-and-run and held on $500 bail.
