Alliance soccer
Sunnyvale Alliance will hold tryouts for its under-16, under-18 and under-19 boys' select teams at Cupertino Junior High School.
Under-16 tryouts will be held Wednesdays and Fridays, 6-8 p.m., and under-18 and under-19 tryouts are set for Fridays, 5:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturdays, 3-5 p.m. Call Michael Gokey at 254-2111.
AYSO soccer signups
The Sunnyvale AYSO soccer league is currently holding signups for the fall season. The league is open to boys and girls ages 4 1/2-18. For more information, call 739-2976.
Youth football
The Sunnyvale-Cupertino Pop Warner football organization has scheduled signups for the fall season for boys and girls interested in becoming players and cheerleaders.
Signups will be held July 13, 9 a.m.-noon, at Fair Oaks Park in Sunnyvale. Call 737-9654.
