    Independence Day

    Sunnyvale residents celebrate the 4th of July


    Cotton candy smells wafted through the crowds, accompanied by laughter and music. A carnival atmosphere reigned in Sunnyvale's Baylands Park on Independence Day as more than 4,000 people celebrated the Fourth of July at the city-sponsored event. Live music from three local bands accompanied residents as they played carnival games and sampled from the food booths. Monkey, IBOPA and Millenium Funk performed on the main stage in the park.   More
