    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Dog Fighting--June 17, 9:40 p.m., 200 block Garner Avenue. Police arrested four male suspects ages 19, 20, 20, and 25 for dog fighting and resisting officers.

    Sale of Controlled Substance--June 19, 1:30 p.m., 600 block Iris Avenue. Police arrested a 38-year-old male for the sale of heroin.

    Car Theft--June 22, 1:34 a.m., 700 block South Mathilda Avenue. Two suspects entered the victim's car by smashing the window and then removed the stereo from the dashboard. Police arrested the suspects fleeing the scene.

    Pimping and Prostitution--June 28, 4:15 p.m., 800 block of E. Fremont Avenue. Police conducted a prostitution investigation in which a 41-year-old female agreed to oral copulation with an undercover cop for $80. The apartment tenant, a 36-year-old female, admitted she received $40 of every $120 earned by the prostitute. She also said the prostitute performed sexual services, but that she did not. Police arrested both women.

    Auto Burglary--June 27, sometime between 2 a.m. and noon, 900 block of Weddell Court. The victim parked and locked his pickup truck in the rear of the Best Western motel. When he returned, the back cover had been pried open and a tool kit, speakers and clothes had been taken.
