Police seek suspect in shooting

New flood protection plan





    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Grand Theft--June 29, 10 a.m., 600 block of Macara Ave. An unknown suspect stole a notebook computer and an organizer valued at $5,000.

    Prowling--June 28, 6 a.m., 1200 block of W. McKinley Ave. An unknown suspect peeked into a residence without permission or lawful business.

    Vandalism--June 26, 9:36 a.m., 800 block of W. McKinley Ave. An unknown suspect wrote on the exterior wall of a building.

    Commercial Burglary--June 26, 7:14 a.m., 600 block of W. California Ave. A suspect broke the lock off of a storage container and stole five drills, a rotary hammer, a chain saw, and another saw. The items were valued at $3,855.

    False Identification--June 24, 9:45 p.m., 700 block of N. Mathilda Ave. A suspect attempted to identify himself using his brother's California drivers license.

    Unlicensed Dog--June 23, 1:45 p.m., 1500 block of Mallard Way. A mail carrier was threatened by an unleashed, unlicensed dog.

    Possession of Marijuana--June 23, 10:40 a.m., 200 block of W. Weddel Dr. Police found a suspect in possession of a baggy containing 1.8 grams of marijuana.
