    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Petty Theft--June 30, 8:50 p.m., 500 block of E. El Camino Real at Lucky's. The suspect entered the store and filled his jacket with mixed nuts, muffins, tuna and other groceries and attempted to leave without paying.

    Minor With Alcohol--June 30, 8:22 p.m., 100 block of Acalanes. Police responded to a report of loud music coming from a vehicle and found a 19-year-old male in the parking lot with a 20-ounce container of beer. He admitted to police that he had been drinking. Police informed his mother and released him with a citation.

    DUI--July 3, 1:08 a.m., Borregas Street. Police pulled over a female motorist suspected of driving under the influence. They then arrested her for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and for driving under the influence.

    Possession of Drugs--July 5, 8:25 p.m., 700 block of San Conrado. Officers arrested a male suspect for possession of marijuana.

    Drunk in Public--July 7, around 6:37 p.m., 800 block W. Iowa Avenue. Police arrested a male suspect described as a transient lurking in the bushes. The suspect gave the arresting officer two false names and two different dates of birth. The officer arrested him for being drunk in public and for giving false identification to a police officer.
