The following incidents were culled from reports filed by officers at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Burglary--July 12, 11:30 p.m., 900 block of Lakebird Drive. Someone entered into the car through an unlocked passenger door. The wires of the stereo were cut and the stereo was removed.

Prostitution--July 18, 600 block of Hollenbeck. A woman was arrested for prostitution at a tanning salon.

Driving under the influence--July 19, 100 block of North Mary 11:30 p.m. A man was arrested for driving under the influence, hit and run, and giving false information. He was booked into main jail and bail was set at $16,615.

Fire--July 21, 8:54 p.m., 1200 block of Forgewood. An employee had been working with toluene--an industrial chemical used as a cleaning solution--which flashed over burning the employee's face and igniting her lab coat and a portion of the room. The fire was extinguished by employees.
