    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

    Assault With a Deadly Weapon--July 16, 1:53 a.m., 100 block S. Murphy Avenue. The victim was knocked on the ground and then kicked in the head by an unknown suspect.

    Burglary--July 15, 1:29 a.m., 1000 block E. Arques Avenue. Three employees were placed under citizens arrest for fraudulent transactions. Officials recovered $679.81.

    Grand Theft--July 14, 9:55 a.m., 200 block S. Mathilda Avenue. A subject reported unknown suspect made withdrawals from the subject's savings account without permission. The amount totaled $29,705.

    Auto Burglary--July 13, 8:15 a.m. to 9:43 a.m., 1000 block Aster Avenue. Suspects broke into three different cars causing a total of $2,500 of total damage and taking a total of $2,645 worth of property.

    Auto Burglary--July 13, 5:23 a.m. to 6:52 a.m., 1100 and 1200 blocks of Vicente Drive. Suspects broke into four different cars and took a total of $2,398 worth of property.

    Battery--July 13, 1:31 a.m., 100 block W. Persian Drive. Victim was assaulted by suspects in the parking lot of a bar.
