The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.
Petty Theft--July 25, 6:44 p.m. A woman was arrested after she stuffed $59.97 worth of watches into her purse and attempted to leave the J.C. Penney store on the 300 block of S. Sunnyvale Avenue.
Theft--July 24, 11:23 a.m. A car parked in front of The Palace restaurant overnight in the 100 block of S. Murphy Avenue was burglarized, resulting in the losses valued at $190.
Brandishing a Knife--July 25, 12:55 a.m. A 43-year-old man was arrested at the corner of Murphy and Washington avenues for waving a knife.
Auto Theft--July 29, 5:30 a.m. A neighbor living near Kirkland Drive and Queen Charlotte called 911 after witnessing three male suspects attempting to burglarize a car. Officers were able to set up a perimeter and arrest the three suspects after a brief foot chase. Officers later learned three cars in the area were burglarized, with more than $800 worth of property stolen.
DUI--July 30, 2:39 a.m. A 25-year-old male was arrested in the 1200 block of Vicente Drive for riding his bicycle under the influence of alcohol and delaying and resisting arrest.
Cultivating--July 25, 5 a.m. A 21-year-old male was arrested for cultivating marijuana on the 900 block of Crestwood Court.
Possession/Sale--July 29, 9:58 p.m. A 28 year-old male was arrested at the corner of Bernardo Avenue and El Camino Real for possessing and attempting to sell 2.3 grams of methamphetamines.
