Golf Tournament
The Fore Women Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 18, noon, at the Sunken Gardens Golf Course in Sunnyvale. The entry fee is $40 per player. For more information, call Rosiland Bivings at (415) 964-8219.
AYSO Kickoff
The Sunnyvale AYSO soccer league will kick off the 1996 season with a soccer carnival on Aug. 24, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at the Peterson/Palmer Sports Complex.

Adult Leagues
The city of Sunnyvale is currently accepting registration for adults interested in playing basketball or softball this fall.
The basketball season begins Sept. 8. The registration fee is $150 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident.
Softball action begins Sept. 8 and the registration deadline is Aug. 22. The cost is $350 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident.

Casino Night
The Fremont Athletic Boosters will hold their second annual Casino Night on Nov. 2, and they are looking for businesses or individuals to help sponsor the event.
The Boosters offer sponsorship levels of $250, $150 and $100; sponsors will receive recognition on the night of the event. All proceeds directly benefit athletes.
