    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Auto Burglary-Aug. 5, 2 p.m., 400 block of Remington Drive. Suspects forced entry into the victim's vehicle. The stereo from the dash and numerous CD's out of the glove box were found missing.

    Resisting Arrest-Aug. 4, 9 p.m., 600 block of Madrone Avenue. A suspect was arrested for delaying and resisting arrest. He repeatedly refused to comply with the police officers on the street in front of his residence. He had to be physically subdued on the ground for safety reasons because he was being so hostile.

    Possession of a Deadly Weapon-Aug. 5, 7:45 p.m., 200 block of Persian Drive. Five suspects were involved in a physical confrontation with the bouncers at a local bar. Two were placed under arrest while the other three fled the scene. One suspect was found carrying a folding knife.
