The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.
Loaded Firearm--Aug. 8, 10 p.m. After officers pulled over a vehicle in the 1000 block of Dunford Way, police arrested a 23-year-old male for carrying a loaded firearm in public.
Cultivation of Marijuana--Aug. 8, 8 p.m. Sunnyvale officers arrested a 37-year-old male in the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue in San Jose for cultivation of marijuana and possession for sale. The suspect is being held on $18,000 bail.
Embezzlement--Aug. 8, 1:45 p.m. A 28-year-old male was arrested in the 1200 block of Lakeside Drive for embezzlement, possession of stolen property, grand theft and burglary.
Possession of Meth--Aug. 13, 8 p.m. Police who served a search warrant at an apartment in the 400 block of S. Sunnyvale Avenue arrived while the suspect was gone and found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamines, a scale, ledgers and packaging materials inside the residence. During the search, the resident of the apartment drove into the driveway and fled by foot when he saw the police. After a brief foot chase, police arrested the suspect.
Petty Theft--Aug. 13, 5:55 p.m. Two suspects inside the Pak n' Save grocery store in the 700 block of Sunnyvale-Saratoga Road were arrested after attempting to steal razor blades and assaulting the clerk who tried to stop them.
Burglary--Aug. 12, 5:50 p.m. Power tools valued at $2,655 were stolen from a truck that was parked in the 1000 block of Willow Ave.
Possession--Aug 12, 2:50 p.m. A 28-year-old male was arrested in the 100 block of Weddell Drive for possession of methamphetamines.
