    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Burglary-Aug. 6, 6 a.m., 200 block of Washington Avenue. A burglary occurred when a suspect gained entry to a local business and stole several musical instruments. The suspect then fled the scene.

    Auto Burglary-Aug. 7, 8 a.m., 1300 block of Lakeside Avenue. On the morning of the above date and time the victim found his car sitting on bricks. The door was open and the tires and rims were missing.

    Vandalism- Aug. 7, 3 a.m., 600 block of Barton Drive. Over the weekend unknown persons used spray paint numerous times on a local school building. Digital images were taken of the graffiti.

    Grand Theft-Aug. 3, 3:30 a.m., 200 block of Commercial Avenue. Suspects committed burglary at the above address. They entered a storage container, and once inside, they stole several items of construction equipment valued at over $1,425.
