Coaches needed

Fremont High School is looking for varsity and frosh-soph water polo and girls' volleyball coaches for the upcoming fall season. Anyone interested should call the school at 522-2402.

Golf Tournament

The annual Kiwanis Club of Cupertino Classic golf tournament returns to the Saratoga Golf and Country Club on Aug. 31. The entry fee is $125.

The tournament begins with registration at 11 a.m., lunch at noon and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call 252-3830.

Jammin' at Leigh

The End of Summer Jam 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Leigh High School on Aug. 29 will feature divisions for players of all levels.

Competition will be open to teams in the following divisions: men's open, over-35 and under 6-feet; women's; and junior high and high school for boys and girls.

The cost is $60 for adults and $45 for students. The tournament benefits the basketball program at Leigh High School. For more information, call 260-1074.

Special Olympics

The Santa Clara County Special Olympics organization needs volunteers for the upcoming training and competition season.

A volunteer orientation is slated for Sept. 8, 7 p.m., at the Special Olympics office, 5730 Chambertin Drive, San Jose. For more information, call 267-2734.
