Adult Leagues
The city of Sunnyvale is currently accepting registration for adult teams interested in playing basketball or softball this fall.
The basketball season begins Sept. 8 and features a 10-game season and two officials per game. The registration fee is $150 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident.
Softball action will also begin Sept. 8. The cost is $350 per team, plus $10 for each non-resident.

Fremont Casino Night
The Fremont Athletic Boosters will hold their second annual Casino Night on Nov. 2, and they are looking for businesses or individuals to help sponsor the event.
The Boosters offer three sponsorship levels--$250, $150 and $100,--sponsors will receive recognition on the night of the event. All proceeds benefit the athletes at Fremont.
The sponsor deadline is Sept. 3. Donations can be sent to Fremont High School Athletic Boosters, c/o DeLene Larsen, 1525 Mallard Way, Sunnyvale, 94087. For more information, call Larsen at 733-0806 or Patti Powers at 730-8813.
