Public Safety

The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department.

Possession--Aug. 22, 4:50 a.m. An 18-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of Vasquez Court for possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and for being under the influence.

Possession for Sale--Aug. 21, 8 p.m. A 20-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of Morse Court for possession of marijuana and cocaine for sale.

Possession for Sale--Aug. 27, 10:45 a.m. A 29-year-old male was arrested on the 1200 block of Cortez Drive for possessing a controlled substance for sale and being in possession of stolen property.

Petty Theft--Aug. 26, 6:30 p.m. A suspect was detained at the Fry's Electronics on the 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue for attempting to steal a computer cable valued at $14.99.

Battery--Aug. 26, 3:20 a.m. A 22-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of N. Mathilda Ave. for domestic violence.

Peeping--Aug. 25, 11:40 p.m. A 36-year-old male was arrested for peeping into his neighbor's apartment on the 500 block of E. Washington Avenue.

Warrant Served--Aug. 25, 11:38 p.m. Police arrested a 19-year-old male, who is suspected of attempted murder, on the 700 block of Mathilda Avenue.

Possession--Aug. 25, 11:40 p.m. A 26-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of N. Fair Oaks Ave. for being in possession of cocaine.
