The following incidents were culled from reports filed by officers at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Hit and run--Aug. 19, 100 block of Bernardo Avenue, 10:28 p.m. A man was cited and released for leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run and driving without a license.
Burglary--Aug. 19, 100 block of Remington Drive, 1 p.m. A woman parked her car in front of her apartment. Sometime later, someone opened the car door and took a notepad, two envelopes and résumés, a credit card bill and an unemployment insurance claim. The radio, tapes, CDs and other valuables were not taken. There was no sign of forced entry,
Controlled substance--Aug. 23, 700 block of All American Way, at 1:30 p.m. A woman was arrested for cultivating marijuana and possession of methamphetamines. She was taken to the main jail and posted bail the next morning.
Burglary--Aug. 26, 100 block of Connemara at 8 a.m. Someone cut into the top of a convertible and got into the car through the large hole. Six CDs and a canvas briefcase were taken.
Accident--Aug. 28, 1700 block of Sycamore Terrace at 12:01 p.m. A man backed his 1982 Jaguar into his neighbor's mobile trailer home. The man was attempting to park his car when he hit the corner of the trailer. The man had been drinking and was arrested for driving under the influence.
Driving under the influence--Aug. 29, 200 block of Meadowlake at 11:10 p.m. A man was arrested for driving under the influence, driving without a license and driving a stolen car. He was booked into jail, and bail was set at $7,600.
