Monster Home meetings slated for September

In the wake of the response to Sunnyvale's July 19 public informational meeting on the large home issue, two more meetings have been scheduled.

The first meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Lakewood Elementary School, 750 Lakechime Dr.

The second meeting will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m. in the multipurpose room at Peterson Middle School, 1380 Rosalia Way.

The city of Sunnyvale is looking for additional input from the community regarding potential changes to single family development regulations. These meetings are being held in advance of council's scheduled Nov. 14 meeting, during which they will hold a public hearing and take action on the issue.

Residents who are unable to attend one of the meetings but would like to offer comments on this issue, call 408.730.7440, or email at planning@ci.sunnyvale.ca.us.
