    NASC participants say 'thank you'

Once again, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the members of the community who so generously gave of their time and talents for the NASC 2000 conference [Sun, June 28].

We have received many, many letters, notes and email messages from across the country expressing appreciation, and we would like to share this one:

    Dear Friends of NASC,

Friends--how can I even begin to name all of you in the hosting community! --are truly how I recall the friendly students, faculty, staff, administration, advisors, families, support staff, volunteers and community members who opened their schools, homes and community to us who attended NASC 2000. Thank you so very much for the wonderful opportunities and experiences you provided to me as well as the rest of the NASC delegates. Your thoughtful planning, experienced execution and gracious hospitality were evident in all that the week held, from start to finish. Not only was it uplifting, educational and professionally valuable, but it was a whole lot of fun. I am truly appreciative for it all!

Please convey my sincere appreciation to all those who were involved in so many various ways. Each contributed a valuable part to a wonderful experience for me, for the other members of my Pennsylvania delegation, and for all of the NASC attendees.

    With sincere thanks,

    Cheryl C. Reinecker

Each contributor to the conference has our unending appreciation for all that was done to make this conference such a high-quality experience for everyone. Thank you for a job exceedingly well done!
