    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Cocaine Possession--Aug 29, 8:02 p.m., 700 block of Morse Avenue. Police dispatched an officer to the parking lot at Columbia Park on a report of loud music. The police contacted the suspect and his friend, and during a search found a small bag of cocaine in the suspect's wallet.

    Forged Prescription--Aug. 29, 1600 block of Hollenbeck at Long's Drugs. The suspect entered the store and approached the counter. She presented a store employee with a prescription for Vicodin, which the pharmacist recognized as being forged. The suspect fled the store as officers arrived on the scene. She admitted being addicted to the drug because of back and shoulder pain.

    Vehicle Theft--Aug. 29, 11:35 a.m., 100 block of Escalon. Police dispatched an officer to the area on report of a suspicious vehicle. The officer initiated a car stop and dispatch informed the officer that the car was stolen. The suspect also gave the officer a false California driver's license.

    Auto Burglary--Aug. 28, between 2:30 p.m. and 10:25 p.m., 400 block of North Mathilda Avenue. Unknown suspect(s) broke in the victim's locked car by forcing the passenger side door open and removed the car stereo/CD player. The suspect(s) then opened the truck by using the lever next to the driver's door, and took a tool set worth $500 and several items of clothing.

    Petty Theft--Aug. 27, 3 p.m., 600 block of Kifer Avenue at Home Depot. The suspect entered the store, selected a shopping cart, and went straight to the plumbing aisle. She then selected four packs of irrigation merchandise, concealed them in her purse, and attempted to leave the store without paying.
