    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Possession--Sept. 2, 600 block of E. El Camino. A man was found in possession of narcotics ('ice'). He was arrested, later processed, then transferred to county jail.

    Possession--Sept. 2, Mathilda. A person was found in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana and was booked into county jail.

    Possession--Sept. 2, intersection of California and Fair Oaks Avenue. Suspect, in possession of drug paraphernalia, was booked and released.

    Burglary--Sept. 2, Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a storage shed of the carport area in the 300 block of Acalantes and took 300 Hotwheels toy cars, 500 McDonald's collectible toys, 10 miscellaneous computer parts and 30 miscellaneous sports pennants without the knowledge or permission of the owner. The estimated loss is $1,530.

    Vandalism--Aug. 26, 800 block of E. Fremont. After a traffic accident, the suspect used a baseball bat and smashed out 4 windows to the victim's vehicle as the victim fled into a convenience store.

    Theft--Aug. 26, 1000 block of E. Arques Avenue. The suspect stole a video game at an electronics store. The suspect took the game and placed it inside his front waistband and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.
